1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website serifpress.co.uk (“website”) and the purchase of products (“products”) provided by Serif Press (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1.2 By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
2. Services and Products
2.1 We provide customised printing services, including but not limited to business cards, flyers, posters, stationery, packaging, and other printed materials.
2.2 Product images displayed on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. The actual colours, materials, and finishes may vary slightly.
3. Ordering Process
3.1 Orders must be placed via our Website using the online ordering system.
3.2 You are responsible for ensuring all details, including artwork, specifications, sizes, and quantities, are accurate before confirming your order.
3.3 We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion, for example in cases of inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1 All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT (as stated).
4.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of placing the order. We accept the payment methods indicated on our Website.
4.3 We reserve the right to update pricing at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
5. Artwork and Printing.
5.1 We provide proofing services, but approval of final proofs is your responsibility. Once approved, no further changes can be made.
5.2 Minor variations in colour, finish, or cutting are unavoidable in the printing process and will not constitute grounds for rejection of goods.
6. Delivery and Collection
6.1 Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or factors outside our control.
6.2 Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery. Ownership passes to you once we receive full payment.
6.3 If you fail to take delivery, we may charge storage or redelivery costs.
6.4 Delivery is free to mainland UK addresses only, delivery to addresses in the UK but outwith the mainland will be charged at standard rates.
7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
7.1 Due to the bespoke nature of printed Products, cancellations or refunds are not permitted once production has commenced.
7.2 If we fail to deliver the correct Product, or the Product is faulty, we will, at our discretion, replace the Product or issue a refund.
7.3 Claims for defects must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 You confirm you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any artwork or content submitted for printing.
8.2 We are not responsible for any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights caused by material you provide.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability shall be limited to the value of the order.
9.2 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of profits, business, or goodwill.
10. Force Majeure
10.1 We shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, fire, natural disasters, courier failures, IT issues).
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
